- the starting point.
the starting point.
Hey friend,
The first thing in creating change in your life, is first finding your starting point.
Coming to honest understanding of exactly where you are right now.
Think of your life as a billion dollar corporation. And you are the CEO.
When a CEO wants to make change, he must first collect all the information, and the data.
A CEO of such a large organisation doesn’t make quick decisions based on single pieces of information, but first does an exhaustive analysis of where the business currently is.
The CEO first collects all the data, speaks to all the heads of departments and understands exactly where everything stands as it is.
It is only from this place of deep understanding, that they can make a potent plan forward for change.
And so for you & me, as the directors of our lives, it is easy to make decisions based on little awareness, fleeting feels or pieces of information, circumstances, things that piss us off- rather than taking stock first of all that exists, of exactly where we are.
About how we got here, our habits, beliefs, ideas, results. Creating a brutal honest assessment of the place that we now stand, the starting point.
This is the only way we can consistently and predictably make good decisions for our lives.
If this isn’t done, it doesn’t matter how many good questions were ask, how clear our plan is for the future, the size of our dreams.
The first step in moving forward, is having a deep understanding of the starting point, right here, right now.
It may seem simple, but it is subtle and significant.
Most people cannot move forward, because they do not understand deeply, where they are right now.
