no-schooling my siblings

Hey friend,

Im on gozo, an island of malta at the moment.

Long story short- I helped my father build an online business during covid.

We scaled it to 7 figures and now my family have been able to travel the world. So they have chosen to set up a base in malta.

That means my youngest siblings are now not going to school. And don’t plan on going.

Instead i’m working with them to build a plan and execute an alternative education model for them.

This is what the current iteration looks like (it’ll keep evolving no doubt)

10am

  • hit the local coffee shop

  • Talk for a bit. Ask questions. Discuss anything interesting that comes up

  • Work on their “high value skill“ they are developing. (Video editing, web design, copywriting)

  • Talk about the philosophy of a great, free life.

12pm

  • train. little 20 min strength based circuit using the dense strength method.

  • Finish with hand stands, juggling, some boxing if dad is with us

12:30pm

  • High protein, whole food lunch

1pm

  • swim in the ocean. Play with different cliff jumps, backflips etc.

  • Enjoy the sun if its out

2pm

  • do some comprehensible input, spanish practise. (Zahli my youngest sibling, 8 years old, is obsessed with watching barbie in spanish)

Rest of the day

  • cruise, muck around between whatever the kids are curious about, want to spend their time creating, learning or doing.

The goal:

  • The goal of the education is to create free individuals

  • That are empowered in all areas

  • That have leveraged, online income so they will never have to worry about money, or trade their time for money… and then they will have the space to ponder what they truly want to create with their life.

The key philosophy

  • this is not about extreme discipline or motivation. if these are required - we have failed.

  • be led by creativity & curiosity. what they are naturally inspired to do.

  • nobody has to be here. or is obligated to do anything.

  • Its a system they can continue to run once I leave the country

Will keep you updated with the progress :)

-Jay
