no teacher but you.

Hey friend, 

One of the best things you can do is to find someone who has done what you wish to do. 

One of the worst things you can do is follow someone who has done what you wish to do. 

Because here’s the thing… most people who encounter a certain level of what we may call “success“ - aren’t overly familiar with the reason for it. 

They will reason that it was their certain method of creating businesses or thinking about art.

They will say it was because they were in certain places, around certain people at certain times.

They will say it was because of their actions and their choices…

And its all true to a certain extent. 

But if we go deeper ,we will find,…

Most people are successful not by choice, but because of their particular trauma & pain that drives them in a way that is productive to society.

Because of whatever they experienced, carved their character in such a way that it was highly conducive to certain outcomes, obsessions and abilities- that were rewarded in the marketplace. 

See friend, all of us were given a certain set of default programming. (Whatever you want to call it)

And depending on that program, we will by default rise to a certain level.

For some that will be great heights, for some that will be the basics. 

To me, that’s the not that important or interesting part.

But what is, is our ability to continue to move forward once we reach the end or limit or as far as that programming can take us.

When people reach this limit- most continue to circle for the rest of their lives till death. 

Some will see the futility and will be drawn to personal development, breath work retreats, esoteric embodiment practises, religion, biohacking, psychedelics.

I would suggest all these have value but for the most part are just about feeling better.

Rather, that finding a way to move forward.

To no longer live and be led out of a running from pain. But to be inspired by your own brilliance & significance, to create something that has never been created before.

I would say that this is not something difficult, or special or rare- but its just that no body ever showed you how.
