human potential

Hey friend,

Im very interested in growth, human sovereignty and human potential.

But I think we have misconstrued ideas about what they truly are.

For example, if you think about “human potential“- your mind may go to an athlete, pushing the boundaries of human biology, perhaps in a scientific or high performance institute.

Or perhaps your mind goes to space, and pushing the limits of what is possible for mankind in an inter-´planetary pursuit.

And it think they are fair examples.

However that sort of human potential is only going to be interesting to a very small percentage of the population.

I think human potential is a much deeper & much more relevant topic for everyone.

Human potential for me, is my pursuit of becoming the highest expression of what it is that I am.

It’s about reaching my potential.

Its about creating the greatest life possible, for me and those I choose to share it with.

Human potential is a pursuit of my potential, and not just physically or biologically.

But in all areas of life. In whatever I see as valuable or desirable.

Most people are not interested in their potential in any meaningful way.

Most people are more interested in survival than greatness, beauty, significance.

And i believe a great deal of that comes from a narrative around what it looks like to achieve your potential.

Your potential is not about competition or a race with others.

Is not about reference to others at all.

Your potential is all about you finding your very own path.

In truth, your own path is the only way that you will reach your potential.

Your ability to find your path, amongst all the noise, all the conflicting advice, all of the programming - will dictate your ability to reach your highest potential.

What could be a more meaningful thing to spend ones life on?

Some may call is selfish, self absorbed. But the truth is, the only way that you will ever be able to have a meaningful impact on the world, is if you give yourself the best of your attention.

In my experience, self sacrifice is always a front, for self service- despite appearances.
