get your first client

Hey friend,

If you want to start an online business, the hardest part is getting your first client.

Chances are you already have people in your current network that would be perfect first clients.

Your warm audience will always be the easiest people to sell, these are people that already like and trust you, and want to see you win.

Here’s a rough script for how you could reach out to people that you already know…

“Hey x, hope you’re well. I’m just starting a new business and I know you’re a great business owner, and I respect you for that. I would like to quickly run my business plan by you if you have 15 mins, would love to get your feedback.“

And then once they agree, share with them the service that you are going to fulfil for people, the idea behind why you want to build an online business (they will want to support you).

Then ask if you could do it for them for free doing whatever it is for the first month, and if it gets results and they find it valuable, that they can give you a testimonial and pay you whatever they think it's worth.

You can also ask them to introduce you to anyone they know that could benefit from it. Even if they aren’t interested, ask for them to connect you with anyone they know that might be.

So much of business is about trust. So here you need to make the most out of the people you already have a level of trust with.

Getting the your first client will get you in huge momentum and make it real for you.

It will show you how possible this is for you.
