the gap life

Hey friend,

I remember clearly in 2019 when I spent my first extended time abroad.

From Palestine, to Morocco, to Norway, North America, Italy, Eastern Europe.

I was having the time of my life. I was experiencing so much, it was hard to take it all in. My whole world was changing everyday. It was far beyond what I had experienced in the 18 yeas prior.

While I was travelling, the young europeans didn’t really understand me.

They kept asking me how I was enjoying my “Gap Year“.

And I would correct them and say, “I’m not having a gap year, I’m having a gap life“

See, the invitation of sovereignty and adventure and life that travels brings, does not have to be confined to a small time in your life, before returning to the known world and becoming a slave to societies expectations, the economic system of credit & debt, and give up your own dreams in order to be a good person who does what is right & acceptable by others.

You can have a “Gap Life“ too.

All you need is courage.
