euro summer
Hey friend,
There was a photo that went viral a while ago on twitter.
It was of a beautiful day in Austin Texas, which has really become a hub of entrepreneurship and innovation since a lot of people moved out of blue states during covid.
In the photo, there were thousands of people by the lake, laying in the sun, on a Tuesday at 1pm.
The photo got a lot of backlash within certain groups, with the main sentiment these people should have been “building.”
At first thought, my reaction was “Who cares, let the people lay in the sun. Let them have their lifestyle.”
And obviously, its up to everyone to decide for themselves.
But this photo & idea expressed from those sharing it, has stuck with me for some months.
And I’ve been pondering the thought as the European summer begins, and Mediterranean calls me like it always does this time of year.
And considering when I will jump across the atlantic.
At the same time, pondering the great space that has been opening up in me in Buenos Aires.
The clarity that I am receiving in regards to my path forward, and all I am creating right now.
And that laying on some beach, sipping aperol spritz, and watching every sun rise and sunset would be great- but after a while would ultimately become unfulfilling if I knew what is awaiting my attention here.
If I knew what was waiting for me to create here.
Because ultimately the greatest experience in life, is authentic expression & creation.
And you could spend a thousands summers, in the most beautiful little coastal town in spain or italy, but it will never compare to going all-in on the thing that the most essential part of you, is here to create.
Authentic creation, is the greatest buzz in the world.
I might head across in August or September- but I’m pretty locked in right now and I don’t want to move.
