billions

Hey friend,

I want to do great things with my life.

I have plans & desires to create significant wealth.

To build organisations that impact the world in a significant way

To step foot on every country on earth.

To master myself in every domain of life.

The most significant thing about doing significant things, isn’t the thing that you set out to do.

But what you have to become.

And all that you have to confront in order to do such things.

A small life is comfortable because it doesn’t require you to go into unknown spaces. And it doesn’t require courage.

In my experience when people say that they don’t want much more from life, that their desires are simple, easily fulfilled- its truly an alibi for not wanting to go on the great journey to become the sort of person that could do great things.

There’s a great Seneca quote that says, “It’s a shame for a man to reach old age, without experiencing the beauty & strength in which his body is capable of.”

I take it further to say, “It’s a shame for any human to reach old age, without experiencing the beauty & significance & brilliance of their innate potential”

It’s not about making a million or a billion dollars. It’s who you have to become in order to do it.

It’s not about having an incredible physique. It’s about who you to have to become to have one.

It’s not about ticking off every country in the world, its about who you have to become to have such a relationship to life where you could move through it all with ease.

The thing about doing great things, unreasonable things, things that you have never dared to do before, its that it all leads back to you.

And that’s truly the most confronting thing.
