the best tool for growth
Hey friend,
I dropped out of school when I started making more money online than my school teachers.
I came to the realisation that the teachers who were designated to me by default were vastly inadequate for the vision i had for my life.
So i decided to create my own path of education
Its called “an education in the world“
And it uses travel & online business as an alternative vehicle for further education
Instead of college or university, I’ve travelled to 61 countries by the age of 23 and scaled multiple businesses to 7 figures.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the combination of travel & online business could just be the greatest vehicle for further education.
Here’s why…
Get paid to learn
Generally with university you have to wait 4 years till you start getting paid. With this system you start making money straight away while you learn. You acquire real skills that you are receiving real world feed back on every day.
2. Leave your current environment
The biggest thing that holds people back from growth, is their environment and the strong relationships to their old way of being. You cannot outgrow your environment. So moving away from this completely will give you the space to create something new.
3. Where you choose to live is one of the most important decisions of ur life.
The city you choose to live in will dictate the type of people you are around the opportunities and experiences that will be available to you.
Chances are the city you found yourself by the choice of your parents or family- isn’t the #1 city in the world for what you want to create with your life.
They say 3 most important decisions in life are where you live, what you work on, who you work with.
4. There is no better tool for growth than business.
I’ve come to an understanding that all personal development leads to entrepreneurship. And entrepreneurship leads to the soul.
That is to say, nothing will cause you to grow into a braver, wiser, smarter individual than entrepreneurship.
5. Travel an invitation to explore living beyond what you have ever known.
Travel is an opportunity to recreate your relationship to the very nature of life itself. Not for holiday or a gap year. But a whole new life. Travel presents us with an invitation to start again and create something completely authentically.

However there’s a couple caveats with this sort of approach to your education.
The government won’t give you a loan
You’ll be misunderstood and possibly ridiculed by family and friends
It’ll require you to release much of what you know about the world
You will have to continually walk into the unknown
You will be alone & isolated for extended periods of time
For me, I’d say its definitely worth it. There’s no other way.
For most, perhaps the comfort of the familiar is more suitable.
Talk soon friend,
-Jay
