attention game
Hey friend,
Attention is the currency of life.
The degree to which you thrive, depends on the degree to which you give yourself the best of your attention.
Consider your life & all you are creating and have created.
When have you ever given something attention for an extended period of time, and it hasn’t gotten better, grown, expanded?
Never.
Every time that you dedicate your undivided attention to something, it grows. Because attention is the ultimate currency. And growth is the nature of life.
So if you wanted to master yourself, and your life, it would become a game of attention.
Of where to put your attention.
And ultimately, you are the greatest thing that you could give your attention to.
But chances are it’s not so easy to give yourself attention.
We’ve spent our lives being taught to elevate others, and ultimately distract ourselves from our own brilliance & significance.
You are the highest point of leverage in your universe, and yet you give your attention to anything but yourself.
Because nobody ever sat you down as a child, and explained in an embodied way, how to give yourself attention or that’s even possible & desirable.
And so you innately sought attention in anyway they could, to get it from others, because you didn’t know how to give it to yourself.
And to this day, you’ve formed relationships, ideas, habits, beliefs, all in service of trying to get attention…
Consider, that your own attention & love was designed specifically for you to receive.
